FAST FOOD CHAIN OFFERS HEALTH CONCIOUS MENU AND A PARTNERSHIP WITH FITNESS GURU.
GARY, Ind.- Jayne Petersen, fitness guru to the stars and personal fitness coach to Opal Whitcomb, has recently joined the Burger Planet team to help promote their health conscious menu and their focus on promoting good health.
Petersen, who has dedicated much of her life to making people, especially women, healthier, became a household name when she helped TV talk show host, Opal Whitcomb, loose 75 pounds and keep it off. She has been featured on Whitcomb’s show a number of times and is excited about her new partnership with Burger Planet. Petersen said, "Burger Planet has been a leader in the Quick Service Restaurant industry in offering healthy menu choices. The company believes in encouraging customers to live healthier, active lifestyles and I have spent my life trying to teach women that lesson."
CEO, James E. Muellenbach III is also looking forward to the partnership with Petersen. He said, " I want our customers to realize that Burger Planet is committed to offering healthy choices on its menu. The hiring of Jayne Petersen fits perfectly in the company's overall focus on healthy lifestyles."
As part of the new partnership, Petersen will be making several mall appearances with Burger Planet mascot, Corny the Clown. The two of them will also star in television commercials and make an appearance at 12 of the Burger Planets around the country. Petersen will also be working with Burger Planet chefs to make sure that new offerings are as healthy as possible. She is also developing new tray liners that will offer nutritional advice and a new adult Burger Planet Smiley Meal that will include an ankle weight, the fruit packages, and the white meat Chicken entree.
Burger Planet was founded in a small shack in 1934 in Gary, Ind. by James E. Muellenbach I. Since its humble beginning it has grown to have a franchise in every state and in 17 countries. It employees 48,272 people and currently has served 52 billion customers and counting.
Muellenbach III said, “Burger Planet cares about its customers. For more than seven decades, the company has succeeded because it put customers first. We listen to our customers. And our customers desire healthy choices and that is what we are going to give them.”

I think that the release is very clear and concise and detailed. I liked how you put the focus on Jayne Peterson, it helped pull it all together more. I would condense it a little though , it seems to long. Overall, I really liked how you organized it and pulled in specific facts.
That was a well done press release. The information was great and very informative. The only thing that could be changed is cutting out the last quote at the end. It was a very good quote at the same time it also was not really needed. Keep up the good work.
Great press release. Well written and concise. It a lot of information about burger planet's new idea.
