Virtual Conversations
This week I was bale to learn more about the terms used when referring to virtual conversations. It seems that as technology continues to grow and progress so does the language we use. We have become people who do a lot of communicating over the Internet rather than face to face. We have learned and adapted to this and been quite effective when it comes to communicating via the Internet. Some new terms that I learned were, spoof, which means any unattributed communication. Spam, which is an excess of communication and lurk is a refusal to communicate. The web site offered examples of chats that dealt with these problems. It was pretty helpful.
